As a representative with 2 companies that have CBD on the market and as a person with intractable pain and multple painful problems wirth my spine I can say that cbd does not work for everyone. It does nothing for me or for my mil who has a cancer like growth impeding her ability to swallow and has undergone radiation to shrink it. Everyone has a chemistry that’s personal to them for some it helps but for many it does not. With that in mind it’s a 50/50 chance of it helping and until you come out your pocket you’ll never know. Buyer beware.

Although it’s a relatively new product in the CBD hemp oil industry, CBD isolate extraction and CBD isolate ingestion is taking the cannabinoid market by storm, becoming increasingly popular with retail customers, formulators, and wholesalers alike. Its many uses and applications in this unmodified form are almost endless and its versatility unparalleled. Plus, you are put in complete control of exactly how much CBD goes into each serving but not matter how much you use it will not get you high.
I used TLC for a year on their automatic fill up system.  I had just moved into a new house and being a first time customer I decided to purchase a service contract with them at a discounted rate.  Fast forward a year, I was locked in at $3.64 a gallon for the last few fill-ups and can't get out of that price until I have used all the oil that was originally allotted to me (for reference the market price for oil at the time of me writing is $2.39).  They also automatically renewed my service contract at the full $500 without my consent.  I was never notified that this contract would auto-renew and had no idea until I saw my bill.  I immediately called and talked to customer service on the phone, insisting that they remove the charge and also closeout my account as I no longer wished to receive automatic payments.  For a while they tried to convince me to stay, trying to explain how in a market where oil was going down every week it was still a good time to lock in a price for the next year.  After about 20 mins they finally agreed to close out the account.  I was told the service contract was removed and I paid off my remaining balance over the phone.  Quite a surprise I have when a month later I see a bill from TLC with the service contract on it, plus a $70 late fee.  I called back and had to explain the whole story again.  Now I finally think my account is closed out with a $0 balance, but I won't know for another month.  The only good thing I can say is that the second customer service agent Janet was very nice, didn't try to convince me to come back, and removed the service contract and the late fee.  Janet, if you see this, you were wonderful, but I will not be purchasing oil from you company again.
The oil may be further refined by 1) alkali washing, or removing the heavy aromatic carboxylic acids with antibiotic properties, which may cause heartburn, gallbladder and pancreas irritation, and resistance to hemp antibiotics; 2) conversion of CBD to THC. Process 1) consists of dissolving the oil in a nonpolar solvent such as petroleum ether, repeatedly washing (saponifying) with a base such as sodium carbonate solution until the yellow residue disappears from the watery phase, decanting, and washing with water to remove the base and the saponified components (and evaporating the solvents). This process reduces the oil yield, but the resulting oil is less acidic, easier digestible and much more potent (almost pure THC). Process 2) consists of dissolving the oil in a suitable solvent such as absolute ethanol containing 0.05% hydrochloric acid, and boiling the mixture for 2 hours.[19]
When exposed to air, warmth and light (especially without antioxidants), the oil loses its taste and psychoactivity due to aging. Cannabinoid carboxylic acids (THCA, CBDA, and maybe others) have an antibiotic effect on gram-positive bacteria such as (penicillin-resistant) Staphylococcus aureus, but gram-negative bacteria such as Escherichia coli are unaffected.[28]
The case study notes that advanced chemotherapeutic agents had failed to control the blast counts (cells in the blood and bone marrow) in the patient and had devastating side effects that ultimately resulted in death. The cannabinoid therapy, on the other hand, had no toxic side effects and only psychosomatic properties, with an increase in the patient’s vitality.
Tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) is the naturally occurring compound that famously produces cannabis’ mind-altering states. The CBD compound found in the plant, however, does not have psychoactive properties. CBD produces a calming effect on the mind, making it a good treatment for people with social anxiety and other nervous disorders. When combined with THC in stronger amounts, CBD can help balance out the medication, ensuring that the user does not get too high. Oil can be slightly harder to procure and more expensive than medical marijuana flowers, depending on state laws. Smoking cannabis can be more beneficial to some people, largely depending on their condition.
I have suffered from Neuropathy to both feet for about six years. The symptoms are numbness and pins and needs to the metatarsal region as well as the toes. There is also an intermittent very intense internal itching to the soles of both feet, which changes in location. I have been offered painkilling prescription drugs, but have refused these. I am very interested to learn of the benefits of Hemp/CBD Oil, and would appreciate some advice on which product you feel would most benefit my condition. Many thanks for your anticipated assistance. You may wish to reply to me by e-mail.
The equivalency factor is not designed to compare the effects of cannabis oil to dried cannabis, or provide dosage information. For many patients, consuming cannabis orally will produce much stronger effects than inhaling it. For example, when considering a product that has an equivalency factor of 12ml of oil to 1 gram of dried cannabis, and a patient who usually consumes 1 gram of dried product a day, this patient will likely use less than 12 ml of oil per day. Even for patients who have previous experience of using cannabis oil, it is recommend that you start with a low dose and go slow.
Online retailers: Most CBD oils are sold through online retailers. These establishments tend to have the widest product range, and many offer free doorstep delivery. Online retailers also frequently post product reviews, allowing buyers to compare different oils based on customer experiences to determine which is best for them. These reviews can also be used to evaluate the retailer based on customer service, delivery, and product quality.

Symptoms of fibromyalgia include chronic musculoskeletal pain. The use of cannabis oil for pain can also be a part of natural fibromyalgia treatment. A 2018 study published in the Journal of Clinical Rheumatology looked at the effects of medical cannabis on 26 fibromyalgia patients. The researchers found that after an average of about 11 months of medical cannabis use, all of the patients reported a significant improvement in every parameter on the questionnaire, and 13 patients (50 percent) stopped taking any other medications for fibromyalgia.
I've been suffering from anxiety for a while now and thought I'd try this... I drink tea regularly and decided to put it in my zen tea. The peppermint flavor in it compliments really well and I've noticed a decline in my anxiety. Its honestly such a nice soothing relief. I would recommend this to anyone who suffers from anxiety and wants a natural remedy.
Hash oil is an extracted cannabis product that may use any part of the plant, with minimal or no residual solvent. It is generally thought to be indistinct from traditional hashish, according to the 1961 UN Single Convention on Narcotic Drugs (Schedule I and IV), as it is "the separated resin, whether crude or purified, obtained from the cannabis plant".

Tetrahydrocannabinol, or THC, is one of the cannabinoids present in both marijuana and agricultural hemp, and it is the substance responsible for giving a psychoactive effect on the body. It is what gives a user a “high.” The reason why hemp is used over marijuana when creating CBD oil is because of the former’s innate low levels of THC over CBD, making it perfect for CBD oil processing.

Over the past few decades, most strains have been bred to increase the amount of the main psychoactive component, (-)-trans-delta9-tetrahydrocannabinol (THC). However, within the past decade, researchers have become increasingly interested in the medical benefits of another compound found in both plants, known as cannabidiol (CBD). CBD is a non-psychoactive component of the cannabis plant but is reputed to help with a myriad of medical conditions.

“The FDA has tested those products and, in some of them, did not detect any CBD. It is important to note that these products are not approved by FDA for the diagnosis, cure, mitigation, treatment, or prevention of any disease, and often they do not even contain the ingredients found on the label. Consumers should beware purchasing and using any such products.”
The short answer: Using products with CBD oil — or CBD oil itself, for that matter — will not get you high. “CBD hemp oil is made from the flowers, leaves and stalks of hemp that contains high amounts of CBD, but low traces of tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), which is commonly found in a cannabis plant,” Carqueville says. THC is the psychoactive element of marijuana.
There is a lot of excitement about hemp oil these days. There is also a lot of confusion. While many people have heard of hemp oil, they aren’t exactly sure what it does. Or whether or not it contains THC, the psychoactive ingredient in marijuana. Will hemp oil make you “high”? If you use a hemp oil supplement are you breaking any laws? The following are answers to some of the most frequently asked questions about hemp oil.
No, not necessarily. As part of the licensing process, Health Canada requires that every Licensed Producer create a way to equate dried cannabis (prescribed in grams by Physicians) to cannabis oil (sold in milliliters). This makes it easier for Physicians to continue to prescribe cannabis in grams per day, and for us to be able to sell cannabis oils to our clients.
Hemp Oil is processed from the seeds and stalks of the hemp plant and despite its source, it contains little to none of the psychoactive element Tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), meaning it cannot get you ‘high’. For instance hemp may contain 0.3-1.5% of THC whilst marijuana contains anything from 5% to 20% plus. Hemp oils main components are in fact omega fatty acids, similar to those which can be found in fish and olive oil.

It is generally thought to be indistinct from traditional hashish, according to the 1961 UN Single Convention on Narcotic Drugs (Schedule I and IV), as it is "the separated resin, whether crude or purified, obtained from the cannabis plant".

CBD products that don't contain THC fall outside the scope of the U.S. Drug Enforcement Agency's (DEA) Controlled Substances Act, which means CBD products are legal to sell and consume as long as they don't have THC. That's likely one of the reasons why CBD products, including CBD oil, are becoming more socially acceptable and increasingly popular. In 2016, Forbes reported that CBD products are expected to be a $2.2 billion industry by 2020.

For instance, some people report a sense of calm and peace; others report increased anxiety levels and unpleasant sensations. The intensity of these symptoms will largely depend on an individual’s body composition. In addition, marijuana strains feature different levels of oil concentration that also determines the intensity of the outcomes that a user feels after consumption. Some strains are recommended to produce less profound symptoms and reactions.

I use CBD oil for both my own use and for my elderly dog and cat. I have found Kats CBD to be of the highest quality and it has great efficacy for my uses. Customer Service with Kats is also A1. On the one occasion, I had to contact them, I got an immediate response. My last shipment had an issue with the bottle labels, and Kats proactively apologized and gave a free sample of a product as a bonus which was appreciated.
A wide variety of solvents can be used for extraction, such as chloroform, dichloromethane, petroleum ether, naphtha, benzene, butane, methanol, ethanol, isopropanol, and olive oil.[2][9] Currently, resinoids are often obtained by extraction with supercritical carbon dioxide. The alcohols extract undesirable water-soluble substances such as chlorophylls and sugars (which can be removed later by washing with water). Non-polar solvents such as benzene, chloroform and petroleum ether will not extract the water-soluble constituents of marijuana or hashish while still producing hash oil. In general, non-polar cannabis extracts taste much better than polar extracts. Alkali washing further improves the odor and taste.
Now let’s compare to an “average” concentration of THC in some of the cannabis flowers that we use to make our oil (we’re using whole numbers to make it easy to follow). For the sake of argument, let's say that we use flowers with a potency of 10% THC (on a fully decarboxylated basis). This means that each gram of cannabis flowers contains 100 mg THC (1 gram = 1000 mg, 1000 mg x 0.1 = 100 mg). Theoretically we would have to use 10 grams of flowers to equal 1000 mg of THC (which is what we have in our 50 mL bottles). But this process is not 100% efficient (nothing ever is!). So we have to account for extraction efficiency during cannabis resin production, plus losses from decarboxylation, dilution, and packaging.
Terrible customer service!! I called to cancel with them as I was going with another supplier (with a much lower rate btw), paid our year end balance so I was at zero dollars (we do a monthly budget plan including the service contract), then lo and behold a month later they come and fill my tank!! When I called to remind them that I CANCELLED with them a month ago they are trying to tell me that they thought that I was just canceling my service contract and not everything and now I owe them the money for the fill up. So why did I take the time to pay the $1.53 balance so I was at zero if I was continuing with them?? It would've just rolled over to the next month's payment. I was pretty clear when I called that we were leaving and going elsewhere. What really gets me is that the lady there takes no responsibility for this mistake which is frankly on their end. Just wants to talk about how they're going to get paid. She was pretty quick to come up with a "solution" which leads me to believe this happens often enough - "well now you have the oil and you're gonna use it so you have to pay for it". Total scam artists, get your oil elsewhere.
At the time of setting up the budget plan, I shared my ideal temperature, age and square footage of my house, the lack of energy efficient windows and doors and number of occupants. After being in business for "over 90 years," shouldn't they be able to appropriately estimate a budget plan? Did oil prices mysteriously double? Being a little off is acceptable as it is just an estimate. Now, I have to pay 233% of the estimate.

Hemp oil typically refers to hemp seed oil, which is made by a completely different process than CBD oil. Hemp seed oil is cold-pressed from the hemp seeds only. This contains no cannabinoids and can be used as a cooking oil. It also contains high levels of healthy Omega-3 and Omega-6 fatty acids. This oil is not regulated in the US or across the world, and it can be found in most health food stores. As hemp seed oil is a food product that contains no cannabinoids, it is perfectly legal throughout the country.
Start a CBD company: In the past two years, CBD has gone from a compound we knew little about to a flourishing industry with medical and medicinal uses. that could soon become a global market. The World Health Organization recently recommended rescheduling cannabis and removing CBD from the list of substances subject to international drug control laws.
Decades of research indicate that cannabinoids like CBD interact with the body’s endocannabinoid system, a complex system that contributes to a variety of biological processes like inflammation responses, relaxation, sleeping, and appetite. By linking with the two main types of cannabinoid receptors, CB1 and CB2, which are found on cells throughout the body, CBD interacts with the endocannabinoid system, helping it in the regulation of homeostasis — the body’s natural state of balance.
Even though marijuana is listed as a dangerous drug, there have been no direct fatalities recorded. The overdose levels are far too high for anyone to ingest. In fact, the overdose levels are 1000 times higher than the effective dose of 15 mg. Any fatalities connected to marijuana have been due to driving while under the influence of THC, trouble with the law because of possession, or smoking weed during a pregnancy (infant fatality).
I used to be a biter, but my mom cured me of that. Joking aside, I like the taste of weed butter, and I like the taste of food, but the two don’t work for me. I don’t eat sugar or flour, and anything else I cook isn’t going to be enhanced by the taste of weed. And if you make sweets, you can’t eat anymore when you’re high or you’ll make yourself miserable. Why not just eat the butter, then you can eat as many sweets as you like, and just get fat instead of insanely loaded?

In the United States, we're in the middle of a cannabis revolution. Our nation is slowly waking up to the truth that cannabis, what was once dubiously considered a dangerous psychoactive substance, is not only safe but extremely versatile in its medical benefits. This has been reflected in the sales of legal cannabis products, which is expected to grow from $6.6 billion in 2016 to $24.1 billion in 2025.
