Made a poor decision to contract with this company for my oil this year and it was a horrible decision. We discussed a mapped out price point and monthly budget plan which was not followed on multiple occasions. There were two junctures where I paid almost double the amount required. In the contract they were to deliver no more than a specified amount of oil and we have now surpassed that cap. Additionally, they continued to bill me past having any oil delivered. My account shows a little more than $100 due BACK to me. They still had my account prepping to pay for next months installment rate although we have now surpassed the cap and they owe me money. They are non responsive to or pass the buck to somebody else when a problem is brought up. I would never ever go with this company and hope others who read this review understand that it is a poor decision as their customer service is horrendous and their process for all things business related is inadequate.
I have a slightly bulging disc in my back that has been causing neuropathy in my left leg for years. I’ve had several rounds of trigger point injections; see a physical therapist regularly, and lately a chiropractor as well. The next step for me would be to try an epidural pain block. Several of my other doctors are big proponents of the “inflammation as a cause of disease” theory and have really encouraged me to do things to reduce inflammation. Omega-3 fatty acids in particular help with this (as most Americans consume a poor ratio of omega-6 to omega-3 which can increase inflammation.) Hemp products contain phytocannabinoids, a substance that can help decrease pain and inflammation. This is full spectrum hemp oil derived from hemp seeds—meaning it contains all of the phytocannabinoids and not just one in particular. This is NOT CBD (cannabidiol) oil, although based on my research it likely contains low levels of CBD. CBD is the substance produced from hemp flowers (a plant with little to no THC—the substance that causes a high) (or marijuana flowers—a plant in the same family with significant THC) that is widely known to have medicinal purposes in pain relief, stopping seizures, etc.
There are several good reasons to choose CBD over THC and how it is made to alleviate health conditions, but none is more important than the legality. While the issue of legal recreational marijuana, medicinal marijuana, and even cannabis therapeutic substances is in flux in the U.S., there are some key points to understand. Products high in THC content – like THC or Cannabis – may be illegal in states that haven’t legalized recreational and/or medicinal marijuana. Likewise, the DEA has ruled that all products containing certain levels of THC and from the cannabis plant are illegal. However, CBD from American Hemp Oil has no amount of THC – far below the DEA’s ceiling – and are derived from hemp. Therefore, among the other many advantages, it’s perfectly legal to use CBD oil from American Hemp Oil instead of THC.
According to the U.S. National Library of Medicine, cannabis use for medicinal purposes dates back at least 3,000 years. It was introduced into Western medicine in the 1840s by W.B. O’Shaughnessy, a surgeon who learned of its medicinal properties while working in India for the British East Indies Co. It became useful because of its analgesic, sedative, anti-inflammatory, anti-spasmodic and anti-convulsant effects.
Under the Section 56 Class Exemption, approved ACMPR Licensed Producers (LPs) are now able to produce and sell cannabis infused oils. Cannabis oil contains cannabinoids, such as delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) and cannabidiol (CBD), as well as other minor cannabinoids (CBC, CBG, and CBN), and aromatic compounds (terpenes), which are extracted from fresh or dried cannabis, and dissolved in a carrier oil.
Although low, the original amount of THC present in hemp may still cause a certain level of psychoactive effects when processed incorrectly. Remember, CBD oil is made from the extracts of hundreds, even thousands, of hemp plants, therefore, no matter how small a percentage of THC there is in hemp, it may still have a high concentration on CBD oils that have been processed poorly, especially since the equipment needed to properly process CBD oil from hemp can be costly.

Signed up in November for heir automatic fill with the special introductory price deal. Things were great, prompt delivery good customer service until this year. It was my fault for not remembering that I would not be reminded our contract was up and they came to deliver oil. I was surprised to see the price of 2.69/gal when I've been hearing HOW cheap home heating oil is. My mother (in CT) just got it for 1.82. So I call and ask what their rate was that day and the man explains that it's 1.99. I asked why I was just charged 2.69 when its 1.99? He explained it must have been an error with the delivery driver and assured me my invoice will read 1.99 since that was the value that day. Well he lied. Come to find out my Mother-in-law who also uses the same company, just had a fill and the price was 1.99! And she got a contract renewal notice which I told I wouldn't get. Disgusting practices. I wish I didn't have to give them any star, especially after reading all these reviews.
AKA-HOP Energy, Valley Oil and who knows what other names they do their dirty scamming under.Had a contract and still got gouged. Better Business Bureau has 128 complaints on just one of the names they use..Valley Oil! I don't know how the heck they are still in business. The Hartford Courant wrote them up in 2009. I thought I was a pretty savvy shopper. Well, word of mouth can kill a company. I hope it works in this case.
Cannabis and makeup aren’t two words that have been used in the same sentence for long. Sure, cannabis and its derivatives come in many forms, but many of us mostly think of those as being the smokeable or ingestible type, not the apply-to-your-face type. The reality, though, is that cannabis oil has all sorts of positive benefits when it comes to your beauty and skincare — which is why it made perfect sense to us to incorporate it into our newest 100% vegan product, Kush Mascara. The cannabis oil derived from hemp serves as a vegan alternative to beeswax, which is a common binding agent in mascaras, and helps create a conditioning, smooth formula that majorly helps deliver in the volume department (read more about that, here). Brush up on this powerful ingredient.
Oh, but I do. I’ve been making it for about 40 years. It just has to be hot enough to cause carboxylation (178+F), and it’s crucial not to burn the butter. You can do it with water and butter, but still, that only takes about 75 minutes tops. I’m doing it in straight butter because like cooks who make Hollandaise sauce on the heat, it’s because I’m good at it. What a vape has to do with any of this is beyond me. Keep vaping, and you’ll have COPD, chronic bronchitis, and any number of lung issues, because contrary to your hipster beliefs system that is completely wrong, vaping is bad for you. When you’ve done this as long as I have, then get back to me.
Fast forward to now. My father, who is suffering from Alzheimer's, is living in a nursing home. I manage his affairs, but TLC still calls him which causes him great anxiety. In December 2013, they delivered 500 gallons of oil to his house even though he was NOT on automatic delivery and they did NOT have authorization. We've requested that they remove the oil but they have refused saying that it's "contaminated" with the oil that's already there. They admit that the delivery was in error, but insist we pay for the oil. We've paid the bill, but they still call my father and won't change the contact number.
Since THC and Cannabis oils contain a higher percentage of THC, it still causes users euphoric and psychoactive reactions, similar to the feelings when people take marijuana recreationally. Besides the high that you experience, the oil delivers a long list of short-term effects, which are similarly present when you smoke or ingest marijuana. Each person’s reaction may vary in the symptoms it causes and their degree.
Because it takes a significantly larger amount of hemp stalks to produce hemp oil, there is an increased risk of contamination of toxins contained within the plant. This is a result of hemp's strong bio-accumulator properties, where it pulls toxins from the soil it grows in. Many hemp oils are also known to lack the full spectrum of terpenes and other cannabinoids that are believed to act synergistically with the CBD, meaning that consumers receive less of a benefit. That being said, there are some brands that test rigorously to make sure that the CBD content, as well as the terpenes and other cannabinoids, are up to par. It's a good sign if they offer to provide a certificate of analysis, which will tell you what kind of compounds are in the hemp oil and in what concentrations
Yet another benefit of essential fatty acids is mood health. Several studies have shown that Omega 3 supplementation can improve symptoms in bipolar disorder. Others have found improvements in. This could be because essential fatty acids are critical to maintaining brain function. Endocannabinoids are also essential for mood. The endocannabinoid system regulates the release of neurotransmitters, some of which play major roles in conditions like depression and anxiety. As mentioned previously, endocannabinoids are made from fat. Consuming extra essential fatty acids gives your body the ability to produce these lipids.
