Brand ambassador and inspiration for Tater’s Sweet Potato Tots by Treatibles. When Mariah Harmony from Villalobos Rescue Center shared the story behind his adoption and how much of a difference Treatibles has made in his life, we were inspired to share his story.  When we discovered that Villalobos Rescue Center’s annual veterinary bills exceed $500,000, we knew we had to help.
There are several supplements that I use to ease Rodrigo's anxiety.  When I have a heads up about a storm or fireworks, then I can plan his supplements and treats accordingly.  Sometimes, it's easier to give him treats, but as I stated above, all of the treats I've tried with my dogs have been a bust.  They just DO NOT WORK!  Other pet parents swear by them, but my dog is still stressed out, which is why I lean so heavily on Ewegurt and CBD oil for anxiety relief.  Every dog is different and reacts differently to the various products available.  I get that.  I just want something that works for Rodrigo because there are times when giving my dog a treat to relieve his anxiety would be so convenient for me and fun for him, but I didn't think that was a possibility until I was introduced to cbdMD dog treats.

Yes, they do! The reason you won’t find CBD on the label is that CBD is not the best term to describe these products anymore. There are hundreds of different molecules in hemp that all contribute to the overall therapeutic effects. So many companies are now calling these products Full Spectrum Hemp, Hemp extract, or Phytocannabinoid-rich (PCR) Oil instead of CBD hemp.
Scientific research has shown that cannabidiol does not operate, or at least operates very weakly, on the CB1 and CB2 cannabinoid receptors in the brain. Those two receptors are the ones most powerfully influenced by THC, which creates the cognitive changes associated with feeling “high” or “stoned.” In fact, the CBD found in dog treats counteracts and suppresses the effects of THC. Cannabidiol binds to different receptors that suppress pain, moderate body temperature, alleviate pain, and lessen anxiety, among other effects.
If you’re in the market for CBD dog treats, we recommend Honest Paws. Honest Paws uses 100% pure hemp oil for dogs excels in calming a stressed, anxious pooch. Does your dog have trouble sleeping? CBD can be derived from the cannabis plant that’s why it is safe for our pet. There is no substance that can harm them from using it upon reading this, accounting for up to 40% of the plant’s extract. And as a pet owner, I already tried it on my snowie. When he has a Lyme disease it is dangerous for my cat it is a tick-borne illness that is transmitted through deer ticks. And I used CBD as a medicine for him and it works.that’s why its safe.

Canna-pet claims to have invented the hemp-nutrition pet market, and brings more than thirty years of research into their products. Canna-pet also has a huge variety of treats and oils available, and they even have their very own “Hemp Science for Dogs” book available on their website, to help teach interested pet parents about the many benefits that hemp-based treats and supplements can have on their dog’s health.
Doubts that linger around cannabidiol in dogs involve the continuing confusion and conflation of CBD with THC, as well as the cannabis plant’s legal status. To reiterate, CBD does not get anyone high, neither human nor dog, since the chemical is non-toxic and non-psychoactive. You may be aware that, in 2015, there was some controversy, as the Food and Drug Administration issued a warning to CBD dog treat manufacturer Canna-Pet. The substance of this warning was that Canna-Pet’s site announced claims on their website, touting the medical benefits and medicinal uses of their dog treats.

Cannabidiol is not a psychoactive agent. Before we even get to CBD dog treats, some may shake their heads, cluck their tongues, and say they don’t want their dogs getting high. That objection is very common, but just as easily dismissed. CBD is not toxic, and it does not have a particularly strong effect, if any at all, on the receptors in the brain that are influenced by THC. CBD does not affect perception and is incapable of turning normally functioning people or their dogs into Cheech, Chong, Harold, or Kumar. CBD treats for dogs are not the canine equivalent of pot brownies.
The company also promises that they used organic, plant-based products in all of their recipes, and they have also introduced a line known as MaxHemp. Items in the MaxHemp line supposedly have higher levels of hemp and terpenes and are also more easily absorbed by your pet’s body. And, to help pet parents find the right product to best meet their dogs needs, the company website has a handy ailment guide, where interested users can simply click on the ailment that is afflicting their pup, and be brought to a helpful page that explains why hemp products can help remedy the situation.

Alas, I spoke too soon. There were still 12 treats left to go, and it quickly became a slog — dry and with a bitter edge that became more and more pronounced with my endless mastication. My dog watched me raptly. I washed them down with seltzer, which was helpful. I imagine that for a dog, who has only a fraction of the number of taste buds a person does, the experience would be delightful.

I just want to share our experience with CBD products. My dog Daisy-Mae was suffering from kidney failure- so badly that she couldn’t even walk. I started her on the water soluble CBD and now within 24 hours she is a complete nut- running around, pawing my face at night because she is so excited she wants to play. This has been a complete God-sent to us! – Annie

My female pitbull momma and her puppies have suffered a severe trauma involving the suicide of my “husband”, their pack leader. They were present when he shot himself and were there truing to get him up and stayed by his side for afloat 2 hours before i got home… licking ands nudging at him… laying by his side crying when i got home. We were displaced for biohazard cleanup and obvious reasons but the dogs remained in the home… they lay in his spot where he wad discovered as are very distant from each other at times, aggressive more than normal, visually depressed, crying and whining… I was told to try puppy pot pulls but unsure of the type to purchase. I love in Arizona and honestly, not to worried if its legal. Due to the unexpectedly/untimely death and financial obligations, i can’t afford any type of training/grieving therapy. What would you recommend? There are 3 puppies and one momma. Puppies are 5.5 months (9/30/17) and about 42-46 pounds and mom is 3 years old (9/22/14) and about 49 pounds. All haves shots, very checked regularly… 100% full bred pit bulls. Any advice is welcomed as long ad is positive and helpful. No negative contents please as this is a very sensitive subject already and my fur-babies are vey important to me. https://uploads.disquscdn.com/images/4966652a3d01673fcd0799182c36665e895478eeddbb4065b59bc0f4f813fcbe.jpg
