Avoid alcohol as it dehydrates the body and alcohol significantly increases THC blood concentrations. When medicating ensure that you have a cold, non alcoholic drink on hand. Water is preferable but fruit juices are fine. Caffeine is a diuretic so it is OK to have a coffee or tea but not to excess. Keeping hydrated will help you combat any dry mouth feeling you may have and helps with processing the cannabinoids.
The hemp used to make this CBD oil is extracted from a special variety of sustainably raised, organic hemp that is specifically bred to contain naturally high concentrations of CBD, while still containing all of the natural cannabinoids, terpenoids, and other compounds of the original plant. The resulting oil then is strictly tested for purity and is free from pesticides and heavy metals.

Using hempseed oil in diet has a beneficial effect on acne. Its omega – 3 fatty acid content aids the body in reducing inflammation of the skin. This reduces the redness of pimples and may also prevent future breakouts.  Preventing breakouts with topical solutions can be very tough, as many products, even many natural oils are comedogenic ( block pores ) and lead to breakouts.

Hi Fred, thanks for your questions. I am not a doctor and this is not to be taken, interpreted or construed as medical advice. Please talk with a licensed medical professional about this. These are just my own personal thoughts and not a prescription or a diagnosis or any form of health care whatsoever. Here's a link to the kind we sell- you can order it online: BenGreenfieldFitness.com/cbd

Hi Ben. I am pretty sensitive to all meds, meaning if the directions say take two pills I usually start with 1 as many times the effects are way more powerful to me. With that said, how do you know how much to dose per person? Isn’t everyone’s body chemistry different? Also know you are not a doctor, but what have you heard about taking cbd along with blood pressure meds?

CBD stands for cannabidiol. It is the second most prevalent of the active ingredients of cannabis (marijuana). While CBD is an essential component of medical marijuana, it is derived directly from the hemp plant, which is a cousin of the marijuana plant. While CBD is a component of marijuana (one of hundreds), by itself it does not cause a “high.” According to a report from the World Health Organization, “In humans, CBD exhibits no effects indicative of any abuse or dependence potential…. To date, there is no evidence of public health related problems associated with the use of pure CBD.”
Some cannabis cultivators have focused on breeding certain cannabis strains that carry high levels of CBD and trace amounts of tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) for medicinal purposes. Although THC does exhibit potential health benefits in its own right, its psychotropic properties can potentially cause undesirable side effects. It is worth noting that despite the strong psychoactive effects of THC it has proven to be effective in the treatment of a number of conditions and, can be used alongside CBD and other phytocannabinoids as a medicine.
After many conversations with my husband we decided to contact Dr. Christopher and we order 90-day cannabis treatment and the card was for cancer treatment amazingly, the cannabis oil has helped me with my fibromyalgia pain, joint pain, and chronic headaches. I had this pain for many years and it was getting worse. I literally have no pain now. My blood pressure had been creeping up over the years and was consistently pre-hypertensive, now it’s consistently on the low side of normal. I have not taken any other medication except the cannabis oil, supplements, and good clean healthy food over the years.

Hello every one Hey! I can’t believe this. A great testimony that i must share to all cancer patient in the world i never believed that their could be any complete cure for lung cancer or any cancer,i saw people’s testimony on blog sites of how Dr. Mark Sircus cannabis oil brought them back to life again. As of November 2016, 33 states and the District of Columbia legally allow cannabis for personal medical use. Rules surrounding the use of medical cannabis (medical marijuana) vary by state. The first state in the union to legalize the medical use of marijuana was California in 1996. States that allow medical marijuana include: Alaska, Arizona, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Hawaii, Illinois, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Montana, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, North Dakota, New York, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Utah, Vermont, Washington, and the District of Columbia. It is important to recognize that these state marijuana laws do not change the fact that using marijuana continues to be an offense under Federal law.
Reality: Hemp oil is an increasingly popular product, used for an expanding variety of purposes. The washed hemp seed contains no THC at all. The tiny amounts of THC contained in industrial hemp are in the glands of the plant itself. Sometimes, in the manufacturing process, some THC- and CBD-containing resin sticks to the seed, resulting in traces of THC in the oil that is produced. The concentration of these cannabinoids in the oil is infinitesimal. No one can get high from using hemp oil.
For reasons discussed previously, despite its molecular similarity to THC, CBD only interacts with cannabinoid receptors weakly at very high doses (100 times that of THC),xl and the alterations in thinking and perception caused by THC are not observed with CBD.iii.iv,v The different pharmacological properties of CBD give it a different safety profile from THC.
Just a quick word to say I had a stroke in Feb 2015 so after smoking a joint someone gave I noticed my arm felt like it moved so after doing searches online to find out what it was an yes it was the dope so more looking at bits online I came across CBd oil found where to buy it an thought I will give it a go now I still suffer from lack of movement on one side of my body but my fingers move on demand so hey I’m over the moon to see something that looks like I’m going to make a recovery an maybe get back to living my life yip yip yipee
I have had RA for 21 yrs. This is the only product that I actually see, with my own eyes daily, my arthritic nodules shrinking big time. OMGosh, within 18 hours of taking the tendon nodules on my right wrist were GONE! o more need for wrist braces I have needed for years. I have friends that are experiencing great results to for fibromyalsia and chronic back pain!

Research is beginning to show that CBD is different than other well-studied cannabinoids. All cannabinoids act as ligands, meaning they dock onto the binding site of a protein and have the ability to modulate a receptor’s behavior. CB1 receptors are widely distributed, but are particularly abundant in areas of the brain, including those concerned with movement, coordination, pain and sensory perception, emotion, memory, cognition, autonomic and endocrine functions.
Tinctures are very popular and for a good reason. They offer a unique opportunity for manufacturers to add other robust ingredients, such as coconut oil, terpenes, spearmint, and other natural herbs and essential oils. These additions help mask the pungent taste of natural hemp. The flavor of tinctures is typically more well-received than pure hemp oil concentrates.

There is a lot of excitement about hemp oil these days. There is also a lot of confusion. While many people have heard of hemp oil, they aren’t exactly sure what it does. Or whether or not it contains THC, the psychoactive ingredient in marijuana. Will hemp oil make you “high”? If you use a hemp oil supplement are you breaking any laws? The following are answers to some of the most frequently asked questions about hemp oil.
Only recently, marijuana and chemically-related compounds have come back to being considered of therapeutic value. A prominent compound found in marijuana or cannabis, CBD, or cannabidiol, has been shown to treat numerous diseases. Researchers believe that in view of the very low toxicity and the generally benign side effects of CBD, neglecting or denying CBD benefits and its clinical potential is simply unacceptable.
When starting cannabis oil treatment the next steps that should be taken are a change in diet and a few lifestyle changes. Cancer cannot grow in an alkaline body that is highly oxygenated. You want to eat an alkaline rich diet by eating many greens everyday. Plant protein will fight the growth of cancer. Buy a juicer and start eating as many raw fruits and vegetables as possible. Eat little to no meat or dairy products because the proteins in them will promotes cancer growth.  You should stop eating sugars. Do not drink any soda at all. Replace the use of sugar with natural sweetener’s like raw honey.

Many people are tempted to believe that products that contain CBD only are the best, thinking that using just CBD alone is a more effective treatment. While products that contain single-molecule CBD, meaning that you won’t find any other compounds, are already provided as medicines, they are not exactly more efficient than whole plant extract CBD oil, when it comes to therapeutic effects.
I will be traveling soon (Vegas), and typically have an extremely hard time falling asleep, if I fall asleep at all, while traveling. In the past I have gone 3 days without sleep only to have to rely on ambien (seems to be the only thing that will knock me out). While at home it takes me a while to fall asleep but it’s not impossible. You mention you take 2-3 capsules to help you sleep, will this be sufficient enough to knock me out or would that require a higher dose? Or would a different product entirely, such as one with more THC be more effective? I recently came across an article on PubMed (not sure if it was mentioned above) that stated that CBD usually has the opposite effect on aiding sleep and that THC is better for sleep. However, you did mention higher dose CBD will not have the opposite effect. So I’m a bit confused.
In addition to the research on the use of cannabinoids in palliative treatments for cancer—reducing pain and nausea and in increasing appetite—there are also several pre-clinical reports showing anti-tumor effects of CBD in cell culture and in animal models.xxviii These studies have found reduced cell viability, increased cancer cell death, decreased tumor growth, and inhibition of metastasis (reviewed in McAllister et al, 2015).xxix These effects may be due to the antioxidant and anti-inflammatory effects of CBD;xxx however these findings have not yet been explored in human patients. There are multiple industry sponsored clinical trials underway to begin to test the efficacy of CBD in human cancer patients.
The only other potential side effect is the fact that CBD inhibits liver enzymes from metabolizing most of the drugs humans take. So, for example, if you’re taking a heart medication, introducing CBD into your system can prevent your body from using the heart medication properly. That can lead to other serious problems, so be sure to discuss any potential conflicts with your doctor before taking CBD or discontinuing any medication in favor of CBD.
Concern about the dangers of marijuana abuse led to the banning of cannabinoids for medicinal use in the U.S. and many other countries in the 1930s and 1940s. It took decades until they came to be considered again as compounds of therapeutic value, and even now their uses are highly restricted yet more and more states have now legalized medical marijuana.
Just wanted to share with you that I have been ordering oil for my sister-in-law who had a Glioblastoma Multiform Brain Tumour. After surgery, 6 weeks of radiotherapy and 3 months of chemo (plus your amazing M10P treatments), my sister-in-law is tumour free as of today! Thank you so much for the service you provide. Feel free to share this story with other members who need a boost and some good news! Thanks again
The stark fact that hemp oil comes from cannabis plant, which is immensely controversial in many countries of the world because of its psychoactive capabilities has led to significant masking of data regarding hemp oil. Most countries now have regulations set in to determine what deserves to be called hemp oil. There is often a cap on the highest detectable limit of THC in hemp oil.

CBD interacts with the human endocannabinoid system (ECS) and has many health benefits, from proven anti-inflammatory properties to potential cancer treatments. CBD oil will not get you high because it does not contain THC or any other psychoactive compounds. Supplementing with CBD oil improves homeostasis and can be accurately dosed with a couple of drops under the tongue.

I found your article to be very informative. My son has refractory Epilepsy and Type 1 Diabetes. I am very interested in CBD but I am concerned about how it will interact with the 3 AED’s he is currently taking as well as how it will affect his blood glucose levels as he is on an insulin pump. Do you know of anyone with a similar combination of issues? How they have handled introducing CBD to their regime? And if they are seeing positive results?
This article is right on. I have friends who have bought the cheaper CBD oil that really need the benefits and they didn’t get results. I looked at their labels and explained to them why. Quality CBD oil should NOT have olive oil in them… watered down. I use CBD oil for plantar fasciitis, bulging discs, arthritis and headaches. I’m a new person and wish everyone could experience this. Friend me on Facebook for more info or to purchase a quality product that will help you. I can help you get the answers you need and get a top CBD oil that does everything explained in this article. Plus, I can add you to a group that will support you through your CBD journey. Tap on my name at the top to go to my website to purchase a bottle. We have a 30 day empty bottle money back guarantee! This really is a top CBD oil with 3rd party testing, organic and non-GMO. THC free available, pet treats and relief creams too!

More and more small studies support CBD for its ailment-treating effectiveness. CBD should not be considered as an alternative to traditional medicine and should be discussed with a physician as a potential supplement. But people have expressed, that CBD provides relief from a variety of different ailments, including seizures, muscle spasms, anxiety, nausea, chronic pain, inflammation, insomnia, and more.
I’ve been reading a lot about hemp vs. marijuana derived etc. but my major reasons for looking into this are a strong family history of Alzheimers/Parkinsons, depression, anxiety, learning disabilities and ADD with some members of the family having insulin resistance, pre-diabetes, and obesity. CBD oil has very little THC–isn’t that the chemical that is helpful w/ Alzheimers prevention? Is there a product w/ more–but not illegally more–THC? Thanks so much.

Nonetheless, when it comes to CBD oil and cannabidiol, people seem be getting more aware of the fact that you don’t need to be a pothead to get all the relaxing and hormone and metabolism-balancing properties of weed. Not that the image below is based on hard scientific epidemiological data, but a quick glance at a Google trends profile of searches for “CBD Oil” speaks volumes, doesn’t it?
My name is Kathleen, I’m 66 years old, and I would like to share my amazing story with you how Dr. Christopher help me on how to go about with cannabis oil. On January 18, 2000, after a severe headache prompted a CAT scan, a 3cm tumor was discovered in the left frontal lobe of my brain. I was 38 years old. My two daughters were ages 15 and 12. Immediate brain surgery was recommended by my surgeon. However, after further discussion, due to slow growth and no adjacent edema, he felt it would not be negligent to postpone surgery and monitor the tumor every 3 months with an MRI. The tumor remained stable for a little over three years then suddenly grew 25%.
Online retailers: Most CBD oils are sold through online retailers. These establishments tend to have the widest product range, and many offer free doorstep delivery. Online retailers also frequently post product reviews, allowing buyers to compare different oils based on customer experiences to determine which is best for them. These reviews can also be used to evaluate the retailer based on customer service, delivery, and product quality.
In summary: smaller doses of CBD provide you with a calm and relaxed focus that comes in handy during everything from writing to music to parties to workouts – very similar to what you would experience with THC, but without the psychoactive or paranoia properties. And if you combine these smaller doses of CBD with common natural sleep-inducing compounds like melatonin, magnesium, or lemon balm, then you can get yourself into an even more relaxed state. But larger doses of CBD (which are going to range based on the actual absorption of whichever CBD blend you are using) can be used all by themselves to enhance sleep or combat insomnia.
Cannabidiol and THC (The High Causer) are the power couple of cannabis therapeutics; they work best together. CBD and THC interact synergistically to potentiate each other’s curative qualities. CBD enhances THC’s painkilling and anticancer properties, while lessening THC’s psychoactivity. CBD can also mitigate adverse effects caused by too much THC, such as anxiety and rapid heartbeat. When both compounds are present in sufficient amounts in the same cannabis strain or product, CBD will lower the ceiling on the THC high while prolonging its duration. (“Relaxing but not intoxicating” is how one patient described CBD-rich cannabis.) CBD broadens the range of conditions treatable with cannabis, such as liver, cardiovascular and metabolic disorders, which may be less responsive to THC-dominant remedies. CBD and THC both stimulate neurogenesis, the creation of new brain cells, in adult mammals.

Hempseed oil comes from the seeds of select species of Cannabis. These are tall growing and have low concentration of THC. Hemp trees have been used since ancient times to produce cloth and paper. Hemp fibers have good strength, both in tension and shear. Ropes made with hemp fibers have incredible strength.  It is also used to produce the oil. Its seeds have been used as food, mainly for animals.

I started using hemp oil a week ago…i baked some bite sized pasties today for daily dosea…i put 2 cap fills in my bath also. EVERYTHING HAS CHANGED… my depression is lifting my appetite has lessened I don’t want to sleep all day my sight clearer, skin smoother and face looks less aged. My pain has subsided substantially…i feel like a new person. I am in aww of this amazing life changing product I bought a 32 oz bottle and I use it for everything. Oh ya and my digestion is in way better condition…
CBD oil may be of some benefit to those with addiction, suggests a review published in the journal Substance Abuse in 2015. In their analysis of 14 previously published studies, scientists determined that CBD may have therapeutic effects in people with opioid, cocaine, and/or psychostimulant addiction. They also found that CBD may be beneficial in the treatment of cannabis and tobacco addiction. There is some evidence that CBD may block or reduce the effects of THC on the mind.
The patient continued to use cannabis oil for 65 days. The family changed strains of the oil repeatedly, and some were more effective in increasing appetite and alleviating pain than others. The author of the case report suggests that cannabis oil needs to be explored further because there is potential that cannabinoids might show selectivity when attacking cancer cells, thereby reducing the widespread cytotoxic effects of conventional chemotherapeutic agents. Sadly, the young girl with ALL passed away due to gastrointestinal bleeding and a bowel perforation.

Cons: Edibles might seem a fun way to take CBD, but it’s a particularly inefficient method, says Kaminski, the pharmacology and toxicology professor at Michigan State. That’s because eating or drinking your CBD means it will enter the bloodstream through the digestive system, so it will take a while—30 minutes or longer—before you feel it. Plus, the food it’s in, as well as other foods you consume, could affect how the body absorbs it, and undermine its potential effect.
Start with a small dose and work your way up if needed. Sometimes, a standard CBD oil dose is determined by your body weight, but this rule doesn’t work for everyone. Some people are more sensitive to cannabis compounds than others. For this reason, I recommend starting with a low dose of 10 to 20 milligrams to see how your body reacts. If you feel like you aren’t feeling the positive effects after a few days at that dose, then slowly increase the dose until you find what’s right for you.

Ten US states have legalized use of recreational marijuana as of November 2018. In 2012, voters in Colorado and Washington state passed initiatives legalizing cannabis for adults 21 and older under state law. In November 2014, Oregon, Alaska, and Washington D.C also approved recreational use of marijuana. In November 2016, four more states - California, Massachusetts, Maine, and Nevada - voted in recreational marijuana. On July 1, 2018 Vermont began allowing recreational use. In 2018, Michigan voted to legalize pot for recreational use, but a measure in North Dakota failed.
Support overall health. Eat it. You can eat it straight and enjoy its nutty flavor or you can put it in salad dressings, as a butter replacement on toast, rice, potatoes, vegetables...it's delicious! Keep in mind that pure hemp seed oil cannot be used for high-heat cooking. It has a low smoke point and will totally break down even at a moderate heat, at which point all nutritional benefits are lost.
Hemp oil contains a power-packed punch of additional nutrients, including calcium, potassium, magnesium, copper, vitamin A, vitamin B1 (thiamin), vitamin B3 (niacin), vitamin B5, vitamin B9 (folate), and vitamin D (of which it is the only plant source), along with a useful dose of the antioxidant vitamin E (tocopherols) as well as all 10 amino acids for protein building. Add to that list chlorophyll (that's why it's green), phytosterols, phospholipids, magnesium, sulfur, potassium, phosphorus, and a bit of iron and zinc.
Your dog can synthesize GLA from linoleic acid (an omega-6 fat), but even healthy dogs can be deficient in it. GLA is an essential building block for prostaglandins in the body. Prostaglandins are hormone-like substances that help control inflammation and support many body functions. GLA deficiencies can lead to allergies, arthritis, premature aging, digestive issues, diabetes and cancer as well as skin problems. So your dog needs to get enough of it and hemp oil can deliver.
For those considering learning how to use marijuana oil, finding the right dose is critical. The right amount of oil to use is going to depend on the person using it as well as the condition being treated. Someone’s sensitivity to THC is a big determining factor on how much of a dosage should be taken. Too much THC can cause negative feelings in those sensitive to it while too little THC won’t offer the desired effects. Cannabis dosing is serious business, and it’s important to know just how much (or how little) to take.
Now of course, you could stop reading here and scroll down to fill yourself in on all the benefits of CBD oil, and the specific conditions for which it can come in handy. But I actually find the history of cannabis quite fascinating, especially given America’s persistent widespread disapproval and/or fear of its use. It’s not like this stuff just popped up like Red Bull energy drinks, ecstasy, Lunesta, or Adderall. Instead I’d kinda clump cannabis right in with organic vegetables and essential oils.
Other additives to avoid: polyethylene glycol (another thinning agent) and, in general, flavoring agents, especially cream and cinnamon flavors as these are very toxic and should never be heated and inhaled. Look for cartridges that contain only natural, cannabis-derived terpenes. That means that the flavor of your vape cartridge came directly from the cannabis flower from which it was extracted.
Most medicinals will have a strength listed in Mg (milligrams) but we’ve found it to be hard to compare with so many different product sizes and the number is usually the total for the container. Price usually goes up with the number of Mg per ounce of product. Some contain just CBD and others THC & CBD. We think that somewhere in 100-500 Mg of CBD/THC per ounce of product is a good range. Some give more but generally charge more too. Hope that helps!
Because oils are slow-acting and long-lasting, it’s recommended that you start low, and go slow when experimenting with oils. They’re a much more concentrated version of flowers and buds and can have some unpleasant side effects like nausea, dizziness, thirst, and a drop in blood sugar levels if you go too quickly. Taking the oil with food in your stomach has been known to minimize nausea.

Ehler Danlos has recently been found to be caused by hereditary alpha tryptasemia with mast cell activation. You are born with extra copies of the alpha tryptase gene. Tryptase levels can be lowered by lactoferrin found in the supplement colostrum. Also, supplement with luteolin which inactivates mast cells. The cells of connective tissue include fibroblasts, adipocytes, macrophages, mast cells and leucocytes. Histamine activates mast cells increasing inflammation which attacks connective tissue, so eat an anti-histamine diet which lowers inflammation. To lower histamine levels, eat only fresh foods- eggs, chicken, rice, gluten free pasta/crackers, cream cheese, butter, coconut oil, olive oil, non-citrus juices, milk, herbal teas (not coffee, black tea), fresh/frozen fish, fresh/frozen fruits and vegetables, especially prebiotics like onions, garlic, bananas, jicama, raw asparagus. No tomatoes, strawberries, vinegar, matured cheeses, pickled/canned foods, shellfish, salami and other cured meats, sausages, ham, bologna, etc. No beans, nuts chocolate, peanut butter, ready meals, deli food because its been sitting, energy drinks, as these are all high in histamines. The key to low histamine is fresh. Eat knox gelatin daily with vitamin C which strengthens connective tissue. Gelatin is high in the amino acids- glycine, proline and lysine which are needed for collagen production in connective tissue. No aspirin, alcohol, high sugar, fructose, or high carbs to heal leaky gut. In fact, inflammation throughout the body can be mediated by the gut bacteria, and loss of gut bacterial diversity can threaten the gut lining, so then that leakiness of the gut, or intestinal permeability, then mechanistically leads to inflammation. Bacteria from the gut leaks into the bloodstream causing inflammation. Then where does that inflammation go and what part of the body gets damaged from it? Connective tissue. Inflammation is the cornerstone of basically every degenerative condition you don’t want to get. Check your progesterone levels which should be normalized. Progesterone’s role in the health of the body’s connective tissue or collagen is well understood. As progesterone strengthens collagen and increases the turnover of cells, the skin becomes softer and stronger. 70% of the skin is collagen, as is 20% of the entire body- tendon, ligament, blood vessels, skin, cornea, cartilage, bone, blood, blood vessels, gut, intervertebral disc, brown and white adipose tissue. https://www.niaid.nih.gov/research/hereditary-alpha-tryptasemia-faq

Hemp oil is a powerhouse of nutrition when it comes to healthy fats. And it is better than flaxseed oil, which in itself is a reputed source of omega – 3. Hempseed oil is more than 40 % oils , and 80 % of these are essential fatty acids ( EFA ). These are healthy fats which are required by the body but are not synthesized inside. So, these need to be obtained from food.

CBD oil products can be somewhat expensive, which may be a barrier for individuals seeking treatment or relief from different conditions and disorders. cbdMD is a notable exception as far as price-point is concerned. cbdMD offers it’s premium, non-THC oils at a large variety of concentrations (300mg-5,000mg) as well as sizes (30mL and 60mL) . These oils are priced at $29.99 for 300mg oils and $99.99 for 1,500mg oils; these price-points are significantly below average.

Hi Patti, our full spectrum CBD oil is a good option for assisting with sleep. We can’t legally prescribe, or tell you our product will cure or treat insomnia. Our CBD oil assist with sleep, by relaxing the body enough to sleep. It will also assist with having a deeper sleep. I would recommend our strongest strength that we offer, which is our 5x strength CBD oil. Which our 5x strength gives you about 50mg per serving. https://zatural.com/products/cannabis-sativa-hemp-oil-drops

Hi, I had ovarian cancer stage 2 and went to do chemotherapy for 16 times in 2014. It came back last year 2016 but I did not do chemotherapy or radiation therapy as suggested by the doctor. I am taking hormone therapy at the moment. I would like to use cannabis oil but which one and how much CBD and how much THC should I take for ovarian cancer? Can anyone give some idea?. Thank you very much.
