My mom takes it daily for her arthritis, she uses oil 3X a day and said she has not been pain free until now. We live in Canada so it is prescribed. The main thing is to start at around 2.5mg and go from there as you build a tolerance. Also make sure it’s not affecting other medications you are taking. It has the same side effect as grape fruit does with certain pharmaceuticals.
I have severe neuropathy in both feet and legs. I just got the CBD oil and I am interested in learning if anyone out there has had any success with this. I know each case and pain levels are different. Just would like to see some positive remarks from people who suffer with it. I am not looking for a cure just need an update on someone who took and it helped. I already know there is no cure. I need help with the pain. Thank you.
The omega 3 and omega 6 fatty acids found in hemp oil are classified as polyunsaturated meaning that they are a healthy dietary fat. These compounds are extremely beneficial to the body and are ideal for human nutrition, except when taken in excess. Overindulgence of polyunsaturated fatty acids has previously been linked to cardiac dysfunction, cancer growth, and an increased susceptibility to bacterial infections.
A condition in which a transplant attacks the body (Graft-versus-host disease (GVHD)). Graft-versus-host disease is a complication that can occur after a bone marrow transplant. In people with this condition, donor cells attack the person's own cells. Early research shows that taking cannabidiol daily starting 7 days before bone marrow transplant and continuing for 30 days after transplant can extend the time it takes for a person to develop GVHD.
This is the safest way to inhale your medicine because it heats the cannabinoid-laden oils to the point where they become airborne vapors, without bringing the other plant material to combustion, drastically reducing the amount of tars and other chemical irritants that you otherwise would inhale. Vaporizers also emit much less odor than any type of smoking.
Lotions are another option for getting the CBD (cannabidiol) you need. They may not be as fast-acting or as potent as some of the other options on this list (because they are absorbed through your skin), but they are a safe and non-toxic alternative. In addition, lotions travel well, are easy to apply, and don’t draw a lot of attention in the process.
Over the past few decades, most strains have been bred to increase the amount of the main psychoactive component, (-)-trans-delta9-tetrahydrocannabinol (THC). However, within the past decade, researchers have become increasingly interested in the medical benefits of another compound found in both plants, known as cannabidiol (CBD). CBD is a non-psychoactive component of the cannabis plant but is reputed to help with a myriad of medical conditions.
I found your article to be very informative. My son has refractory Epilepsy and Type 1 Diabetes. I am very interested in CBD but I am concerned about how it will interact with the 3 AED’s he is currently taking as well as how it will affect his blood glucose levels as he is on an insulin pump. Do you know of anyone with a similar combination of issues? How they have handled introducing CBD to their regime? And if they are seeing positive results?

Secondly, keep in mind that pure hemp oil does not taste good to many. Each harvest renders slightly different flavors because the flavor and aroma come from compounds within the hemp plant called terpenes. Just like cannabinoids, you don’t know exactly which terpenes have developed in the plant until the oil has been extracted and tested. This makes it difficult to guarantee how each batch will taste.
I appreciate your efforts in writing this article & don’t mean to disparage you, but there’s so much information that goes into this discussion & people need to be prepared ahead of time. One very important note is to make sure that nothing in the CBD will be contraindicated with many prescription medications, especially for diabetes, hypertension, blood thinners & anti-platelets for example. If a company’s website says their formula is a “proprietary blend”, call before you buy, please!
I suffer from fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue and migraines for years. I just started taking various vitamins including turmanic because nothing doctors are doing is helping. I take Topamax, Gabapenten, Pepcid, and Claritin and get steroid injections from time to time. I have a neurologist that wants to do Botox injections for the migraines. I’m wondering whether there could be interactions from any of this and taking Nature CBD. I don’t get much help from my doctors except more drugs which make me sick so I’m investigating on my own. Thanks.
CBD Isolates/Concentrates: Anyone familiar with smoking hash or other cannabis concentrates like wax and BHO will be no stranger to this delivery method. Simply sprinkle some into a vaporizer or water pipe, ignite, inhale, and enjoy! We find that this option is useful for individuals looking to elevate their regular consumption of CBD-rich cannabis flowers or other smokable herbs.
